Enjin (or Engine) To Mass Adoption

Enjin has partnered with Unity Technologies to launch a test net version of its blockchain development kit. Enjin will demonstrate the test net version of the platform at the world’s largest gaming industry event ‘Game Developers Conference’ on March 18th.

Unity is the world’s most popular game development engine. Used by over 4.5 million developers with already 28 billion games installed on 3 billion devices.

Enjin is a gaming blockchain based platforms in existence with a goal to secure and protect intellectual property. Now with Enjin blockchain SDK, Unity developers can create, integrate and manage the distribution of ERC1155-compliant tokens on the Ethereum blockchain.

Game developers will be able to tokenize game assets in blockchain, therefore, enabling players to safely store game items and trade virtual assets. Enjin Blockchain also allows interoperability of virtual items i.e. using virtual items from one game in other games.

Enjin SDK will work with all 30 Unity supported platforms, including Microsoft Windows operating systems, iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Oculus Rift and many more.

SDK stands for “Software Development Kit”. Think of it as a kit to put together a model car or plane. When constructing this model, a whole kit of items is needed, including pieces, tools to put them together, assembly instructions, and so forth.

An SDK, in the same way, provides a set of tools, libraries, relevant documentation, code samples, processes, and guides that allow developers to seamlessly create software applications on a specific platform.

Last month, Samsung announced the support of cryptocurrency wallet storage option ‘Blockchain Keystore’ in its flagship smartphone Galaxy S10. Along with BTC, ETH, the wallet will also support Enjin Coin (ENJ) storage and transaction processing.

Gaming Potential For Blockchain:

Gaming, as a global phenomenon generates each year revenue of $110 Billion and is growing rapidly. It is also a sector that is run by people who are technologically inclined and predominantly younger.

“The future for Enjin looks great”

Enjin partnership with Unity and Samsung has set its path to wide adoption and use. A scale yet to be experienced by any gaming blockchain project.
